TSK cannulas are primarily used for aesthetic filler procedures, including dermal filler placement across the face and body. The blunt tip design suits procedures that prioritise reduced risk of vascular trauma, such as larger volume filler treatments and delicate facial areas.

Unlike a regular cannula, which cuts through tissue and vessels, a blunt tip cannula slides through the subcutaneous layer. This is associated with a reduced risk of bruising and vascular trauma, allowing for a larger treatment area to be covered from a single entry point for greater comfort.

STERiGLIDE™ is TSK's proprietary cannula tip and surface coating technology. The dome shaped tip creates less resistance than a traditional cannula tip, reducing the force needed to introduce the cannula. The proprietary coating then reduces friction with skin tissue as the cannula moves beneath the surface.

This depends on the treatment area, filler volume and practitioner preference. TSK's cannula range spans 22G to 30G in gauge and 25mm to 70mm in length, with STERiGLIDE™ and CSH cannula options available in TSKiD™ Standard and Large barrel formats. Yes. TSK cannulas are supplied sterile, individually packaged and intended for single use only, and should be disposed of in line with standard clinical sharps handling procedures.
