Frequently asked questions

TSK needles are used in mesotherapy, dermal filler and botulinum toxin injections, vaccination, pain management, ophthalmic procedures and general pharmaceutical needle applications. TSK also offers precision skin booster needles made for aesthetic treatments, where accurate, controlled delivery is needed to improve skin hydration, texture and appearance. The range spans hypodermic, safety, blunt fill and specialty needle types for different clinical and aesthetic applications.

TSKiD™ is TSK's proprietary needle barrel technology, engineered to enlarge the internal diameter of the needle beyond the standard ISO specification. It's available in three levels, Standard, Large and Max, with TSKiD™ Max increasing the inner diameter of a 30G needle by up to 65% compared to a standard ISO needle. A wider internal diameter reduces the force needed to push product through the needle.

Yes. TSK provides sterile needles, individually packaged and intended for single use only. Dispose of every needle after use in line with standard clinical sharps handling procedures.

Low Dead Space (LDS) is TSK's patented medical needle hub design. It reduces the amount of product left behind in the needle hub post-injection, to as close to zero as possible. Product waste is reduced, which is particularly relevant when working with high value drugs, vaccines or biologics where it helps lower the effective cost per injection. The LDS hub also features external threading for a secure luer lock connection.

Finding the right needle online depends on the procedure, the product being injected and practitioner preference. Key considerations include gauge and length (TSK needles range from 25G to 34G and 4mm to 38mm), hub type (standard, LDS or TSKiD™ enhanced flow), and whether the procedure calls for a safety engineered or blunt fill needle. TSK Laboratory is a needle supplier that’s there to support you, helping to match a needle to your specific procedure.
